R .L.Brooks Ltd is a local family run business which was founded back in 1923. We currently have the third generation of family working in the business bringing new ideas and constantly trying to build on the excellent reputation which we have locally for providing a high level of customer care.

We pride ourselves on the personal service and specialist knowledge which all our sales staff provide, we also have our own service department providing a speedy service on all visual products sold.

We were awarded the Copeland pride award for customer service & the Independent Marketing Digital Switchover award during the country’s first Digital Switchover. In 2009 we totally refitted our Duke Street showroom providing a new modern spacious environment which allows us to show and demonstrate a wide range of Plasma, LED and LCD TV Screens along with a wide array of home appliances from the industries leading suppliers.
