To ensure smooth and judder-free pictures, all Panasonic VIERA plasma TVs are equipped with at least 100Hz technology, doubling the output frame rate, meaning the gaps of time between image frames are lessened. All TV’s from the S20 range onwards employ an innovative 600Hz Sub-field Drive with Intelligent Frame Creation Pro. The more frames inserted, the smoother the overall imaging will be for the human eye, aiding in creating flicker-less moving images - virtually eliminating unsightly smearing & after effects.
In addition - all TVs from the G20 range onwards have a built in FREESAT tuner which,when connected to a satellite dish, receives up to 140 channels at no extra cost, including stunning HD (High Definition) FREE from BBC & ITV! Freesat has NO contract & NO subscription.
Panasonic VIERA plasma TVs produce very realistic pictures with a dynamic contrast ratio of at least 2,000,000:1, with the majority of the Plasma TVs actually having Infinite Black Contrast. With environmental and green issues becoming increasingly important Panasonic has introduced ‘Eco Mode’ as a standard in most of its plasma TVs, & activating the Eco Mode, results in the TV using up to 55% less power in darkly-lit conditions without any compromise to the picture quality.
All Panasonic VIERA plasma TVs are protected by a front sheet of glass, particularly reassuring for families with small children and energetic gamers!
